I am a state licensed and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certified audiologist specializing in hearing conservation. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and graduated in 1996 with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences. For graduate school I chose Northeastern University in Boston. I graduated with a M.S. in Audiology in 1998. I moved back to the midwest and worked as a dispensing Audiologist in Indianapolis. I knew there was some other area of audiology that I would serve better. I believe my strong education, dedication, and interpersonal skills have given me a strong foundation. My business gave me the chance to utilize these skills. earEVERYTHING, Inc. started in 2001, and its primary focus is on hearing healthcare and bettering communications in adverse situations.
Since starting earEVERYTHING, Inc. the span of clientele has grown. I have had the oppurtunity to work with some of the most amazing people on earth. From the likes of (members of) the Dave Matthews Band, Troye Kinnett (John Mellencamp), Corey Smith Band, Bil VornDick (producer), Bobby Sparks (Kirk Franklin), the Pat McGee Band, the John Butler Trio, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), (members of) Prince, Stephen Mougin, Byron House, Chris Brown (Sam Bush Band), Weird Al, Allison Miller (drummer), Zac Brown Band, Clay Cook, Brian Deer, Pale, and Rev. Peytons Big Damn Band. Local Indianapolis newscasters from stations WRTV6, FOX59, and WISH TV 8. I serve as the "ear girl" to all drivers, crew, officials, and family of several racing series, including Indycar,Indy Lights, ALMS, Mazda, Atlantic, NHRA, and NASCAR. I work closely with DELPHI motorsports division implementing the Delphi Earpiece Sensor System (DESS) in various leagues. An earpiece containing G Force sensors on three axis, downloading information about the drivers head during an impact.
This past July, I had the honor of presenting my hearing research and conservation strategies to the International Council for Motorsport Science. Attendees included officials, medical staff, and first responders for individual facilities and various racing series. I recieved high marks for my topic and presentation.
